Payments

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept Paypal, Apple Pay, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover.

Will I be charged sales tax on my order?

Applicable sales tax will be added automatically to your order if appropriate based on your shipping location. If you do not see a sales tax added to your order amount at checkout then then sales tax is included in the price.

Can I use promo codes with the purchase of already discounted items or sale items?

Promo codes and offers cannot be combined with already discounted items or sale items.

Will I receive a physical gift card in the mail?

All gift cards are delivered by email which contains instructions to redeem them at checkout. Our gift cards have no additional processing fees.

Orders

What is the status of my order?

Once you have placed your order, we will send you a confirmation email to track the status of your order. Once your order has shipped, we will send you another email with a link to track your order.

I didn’t receive an order confirmation

If you have ordered from us but have not received an order confirmation, this may be because the e-mail address entered was incorrect. Please contact our customer service at info@amethystthegem.com for assistance. Here you can ask if we have registered an order for you. We can correct your email address and send you your order confirmation. It is also possible that the order was not completed. Please contact us before you place a new order to avoid duplicate orders

Can I change or cancel my order?

We can only change or cancel orders that have not been processed for shipping yet. Please e-mail info@amethystthegem.com if you’d like to change or cancel your order. Please keep in mind that we try to ship out packages as quickly as possible so requests for cancellations should be sent as soon as possible.

What to do if something in my order is damaged?

We strive to only send you high-quality merchandise. If you happen to receive a damaged item and would like to exchange it for another one, contact us and we can see if an exchange is available! Otherwise, we can absolutely include it in a future order.

My package is lost, what do I do?

We recommend checking your tracking number located in your shipping confirmation e-mail to ensure that the package is marked as delivered. We also recommend double-checking the shipping address on the e-mail to make sure it is correct. Before contacting us, please check to make sure your mail carrier did not do any of the following:

  • Put your package in your mailbox
  • Leave your package at your back door or in your garage
  • Leave your package with the front office or front desk if you live in an apartment, dorm, or gated community
  • Leave your package in your post office box

Shipping

Where do you ship?

We currently ship in the United States. However, shipping outside of the United States is available. Please reach out to info@amethystthegem.com or send us a direct message through our social media platforms.

How long does it take to process my order?

We work to ship out orders within 1- 3 business days after the order has been placed. For holidays, Friday afternoons, weekends, and during physical inventory audits, we may take up to 5 business days to ship orders from our warehouse. Once you have placed your order, we will send you a confirmation email to track the status of your order.

How long does it take to ship my order?

Standard shipping time for the United States is usually 1-3 business days. However, please allow up to 5 business days depending on your local post office. Once your order has shipped, we will send you an email with a link to track your order

Returns and exchanges

Do you accept returns or exchanges?

We do accept returns in respect to the following conditions:

  • The item was sold on our online store
  • The item was not used in any way
  • The return or exchange request is made within 14 days of delivery
  • The item is returned or exchanged within 14 days of the request

To ask for an exchange, please mention that you would like your item to be exchanged with another item when preparing your return with our support.

How long does it take to process a return?

Returns are confirmed within 14 days of receiving the package. Once your return is accepted, the reimbursement, exchange or credit will be issued within 14 days.

Do I pay for return or exchange shipping?

Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.
